Rivers state recorded 21 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state 12,728 with 12,523 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 209 new cases. Gombe recorded the highest number with-109, FCT-21, Rivers-21, Lagos-13, Bauchi-9, Ondo-9, Plateau-9, Enugu-7, Benue-5, Oyo-4, Ekiti-1 and Ogun-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 212,359 with 204,010 discharged and 2,900 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
