Rivers State recorded 18 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,9521 with 11,423 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 210 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -79, Edo-20, Anambra-19, Rivers-18, Ondo-15, Gombe-14, Oyo-13, Kaduna-11, Ekiti-8, Delta-6, FCT-5, Bayelsa-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 204,201 with 192,421 discharged and 2,673 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
