The Rivers State Government has launched an automation platform known as RIVTAMIS to help eradicate the issue of double taxation, revenue leakages among others.
The State Commissioner for Transport, Osima Ginah during the flag off in Port Harcourt, said the platform will also help reduce touting and secure car owners in the transportation system in the state.
He said the automation platform is in line with the directive of the state Governor, Nyesom Wike to sanitize the transportation sector.
Hon. Ginah also noted that commuters will be mandated to paint their cars, the required state colours, as the platform will also check the roadworthiness of every car.
He, furthermore urged car owners to explore the platform which will change the Transportation sector for good.
