The Igbo Community in Rivers State has endorsed the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Abe as their sole candidate in the March 11 election in the state.
The event which was held at the Freedom House in Port Harcourt at the weekend had chiefs, members of the community with Sen. Abe and stakeholders of the party in attendance.
The group said they examined all the candidates and opted for Abe because he has the experience and capacity to transform the state.
Abe on his part, commended the group for the bold step promising not to disappoint them if elected governor of the state.
