RIVERS STATE APC CHAIRMAN VISITS THE NIGERIAN NAVY, RIVERS STATE COMMAND

Yesterday, the Chairman of the APC in Rivers State, Chief Tony C Okocha KSC JP DSSRS, who also serves as the Honourable Commissioner representing Rivers State in the NDDC Board, visited the Nigerian Navy, NNS Pathfinder, as part of his courtesy visits to relevant Agencies.

The State Chairman of the APC in Rivers State was accompanied on the visit by members of the State Working Committee (Caretaker) of the APC in Rivers State, as well as some stakeholders of the party.

The team was warmly received by the Commander, Nigerian Navy Ship Pathfinder, Commodore Desmond Okechukwu Igbo.

During his speech, Chief Okocha expressed that the purpose of the visit was to seek the cooperation, support, and collaboration of the Command with the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as the NDDC Commission.

In response, Commodore Desmond Okechukwu Igbo commended Chief Okocha and his team for their special visit. He assured them that the Rivers State Command of the Nigerian Navy would always be readily available to provide any needed assistance that may be required by the APC and the NDDC Commission.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of an ‘Award of Excellence’ to Chief Tony C Okocha by the Rivers State Commander of the Nigerian Navy Pathfinder.
