The Rivers State Government has concluded plans to discharge the second coronavirus patient in the state today.
The State Governor, Nyesom Wike, made this known in a live broadcast this morning when he said, “the second case which was recorded and taken to the treatment centre has now tested negative and will be discharged this morning….”
The second coronavirus case was a sixty two year old retiree who returned from the United kingdom on March 21, 2020.
This comes after the index case- a nineteen year old model also tested negative last month.
