Some residents of Port Harcourt, have called on the Rivers State Government to carryout an integrity test on a building being constructed on Nwaja Road in Elekahia, Rivers State.
This is after a resident, Nimi Walson Jack shared a picture of the building on Facebook.
“Is it true that Disaster is waiting to happen on Nwaja Road, Elekahia, Port Harcourt. Rivers State,” Nimi asked.
They said the government must immediately intervene to avoid a repeat of the Ikoyi building collapse.
They also called on owners of the building, engineers and supervisors to stop further work on the building, until a proper assessment is carried out by the state government.
