Rivers state recorded 6 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state 12,785 with 12,586 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Friday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 129 new cases. Katsina recorded the highest number with -53, Kwara-32, Osun-8, Plateau-8, Rivers-6, Kaduna-6, FCT-5, Kano-5, Oyo-4, Jigawa-1 and Bauchi-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 213,076 with 205,483 discharged and 2,949 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
