Rivers residents have raised concerns on how families conduct their burial ceremonies along the road causing road blocks and long hours of traffic.
This follows a road side burial ceremony along the Iwofe road, close to Eagle cement junction today which caused long hours of traffic.
Commercial drivers, passengers and students who had their matriculation to catch up at the Ignatius Ajuru University had difficulty getting to their destination.
Some residents and business owners along the road kicked against such practice and called on the government to enforce the law banning road obstruction.
Recall that the Rivers State House of Assembly had passed a law to prohibit use arbitrary use of government facility including blocking access roads. The law was sponsored by house leader, Martin Amaewhule.
