A Port Harcourt resident identified as Claire Chisom Ikenga has raised an alarm over the heap of refuse along the NDDC road in Omunwei Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area of state.
Claire in a post on Wednesday, said the state of the road is too bad, and that it is affecting everyone in the area, physically, mentally and financially.
She called on relevant agencies to come to their aid, as it is slowing down business in the area, and that their health is also being affected.
Her statement reads,
Please this has lingered for quite sometime now. The state of this road is too bad.
This is NDDC ROAD OMUSELE OMUNWEI IGWURUTA. It’s affecting everyone.
PHYSICALLY = it’s an eyesore.
MENTALLY = it’s degrading
FINANCIALLY = it’s slowing down business. Even our health is at risk.We need help ooo
