Rivers state has recorded one new case of the COVID-19. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 22, with 2 discharged and 2 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known during its daily update of the COVID-19 in the country yesterday. The Centre further announced 242 confirmed new cases of the COVID-19 in the country.
Lagos recorded the highest number of the new cases with 88; 64-Kano 49-Katsina 13-Kaduna 9-Ogun 6-Gombe 4-Adamawa 3-FCT 1-Ondo 1-Oyo 1–Rivers 1-Zamfara 1-Borno 1-Bauchi.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 4641, with 902 Discharged and 150 Deaths.
Meanwhile, the NCDC has warned Nigerians to continue practicing good respiratory hygiene so as to stop the further spread of the pandemic, which currently has no cure.
