Rivers State has recorded three new cases of the COVID-19. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 17, with 2 discharged and 1 death.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known during its daily update of the COVID-19 in the country yesterday. The Centre also announced a total of 381 confirmed new cases of the COVID-19 in the country.
Lagos recorded the highest number of the new cases with 183, 55-Kano, 44-Jigawa, 19-Zamfara, 19-Bauchi 11-Katsina 9-Borno 8-Kwara 7-Kaduna 6-Gombe 5-Ogun 4-Sokoto 3-Oyo 3-Rivers 2-Niger 1-Akwa Ibom 1-Enugu 1-Plateau.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 3526, with 601 Discharged and 107 Deaths. Meanwhile, the NCDC has warned Nigerians to continue practicing good respiratory hygiene so as to stop the further spread of the pandemic, which currently has no cure.
