A Police van this morning, somersaulted while chasing a Toyota Camry carrying illegally refined petroleum product popularly known as “Kpofire.”
The incident occurred along the Azikiwe Road close to UBA Bank in Port Harcourt.
An eyewitness in a chat with us, said the Police Officers were chasing the vehicle at high-speed when they crashed.
According to him, the Camry emptied its contents on the Road, causing heavy traffic in the area.
He also noted that the Police Officers sustained injuries and were assisted by residents of the area.
The eyewitness, revealed that the suspects managed to escape despite sustaining life threatening injuries.
The Police is yet to react to the incident.
