The Rivers State Police Command says it is working to identify one of its officers seen in a viral video assaulting a lady at the Ada George axis of Port Harcourt.
The command made this known in a statement on its official X(Twitter) handle on Saturday.
“…The command wishes to inform the general public that all hands are on deck to identify the police officers in the trending video for proper investigation,” the police tweeted.
Human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, had petitioned the Police on his X handle on Friday over alleged assault of a lady by some unidentified police officers in the state.
