The Rivers State Police Command has dismissed as false reports claiming that one Mr. Ambrose Supuruchi, who allegedly parades himself as the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in the state, has been declared wanted by the Commissioner of Police.

A post shared on the official Facebook page of the Rivers State chapter of the NYCN had alleged that “Mr. Ambrose Supuruchi, claiming NYCN Chairman, has been declared wanted by the Rivers State Commissioner of Police.”

However, reacting to the claim, the spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, described the report as “fake,” urging the public to disregard it.

As you may be aware, the Command had cautioned individuals and groups against disseminating false information that could mislead the public or cause unnecessary tension in the state.
