Four unknown Gunmen believed to be part of the group that attacked and killed seven Security Operatives a fortnight ago in Rivers State, have been reportedly killed by a tactical team of the Nigerian Police, at their hideout in Oyigbo Local Government Area.
Sources say the Police stormed the hideout on Saturday, as some of them were been treated by a nurse, for gunshot wounds sustained during the attack on Police formations along the East West Road.
The nurse simply identified as Uchechi was killed by a stray bullet during the raid.
Reports say the deceased were members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra. Five registration booklets of the group, many charms and some arms were recovered from them.
The state Police command is yet to release an official statement on the incident.
