The Police in Rivers State, has exhumed the decomposed body of Robert Looloo, Paramount Ruler of Luuwa Community in Khana Local Government Area of the state.
The monarch, who was kidnapped from his palace in June 2019 was killed and dumped at a creek in the community.
Divisional Police Officer of Bori, SP Angbashim in a statement yesterday, said they have been searching for the traditional ruler since the incident two years ago.
He said they discovered his remains at a creek across a river after thorough investigation.
He described the act as “wickedness to humanity” adding that all those involved will be brought to book.
Meanwhile, one of the children of the late monarch, Dr Douglas Fabeke described the incident as “heartbreaking.”
