The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the killing of six persons in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Spokesperson of the state Police command Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the incident Today.
According to her, an investigation is currently ongoing to apprehend the suspects, as Tactical Teams have been deployed to the area.
“Yes, I can confirm that six persons were killed. An investigation is ongoing to apprehend the suspects,” she said.
The Public Relations Officer of Akoh Youth Congress, Ahoada East local government area, Ekeakita Chinem had in a statement said six persons were killed in Abarikpo and Odiereke-Ubie communities this morning.
He called on the Commissioner of Police, Polycarp Nwonyi to ensure the suspects are apprehended.
