The Rivers State Police Command has announced that it has rescued a Nollywood actor, Mr Bilal popularly known as Mr. Bee from a forest at Ndashi in Etche Local Government Area.
Police Spokesperson, DSP. Nnamdi Omoni made this known in a statement yesterday. He said the DPO and officers of the Okehi division rescued the victim and arrested one of the suspects.
Narrating his ordeal, Mr. Bee said he was beaten with machetes and sticks to enter a car, before the timely intervention of the police.
Meanwhile the Commissioner of Police in the state, Joseph Mukan, has warned residents of Etche and Omuma to be security conscious and report any suspicious movement to the police. He said investigation is ongoing to arrest the other suspects.
