A wanted former OSPAC leader identified as Nyeche Ajuru has been arrested by the Police over alleged killing of two soldiers and seizing their rifles in Ndele community, Rivers State.
The state commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi, yesterday said the suspect was arrested by the Anti Cultism Unit of the command along UDS road in Aluu, Obio/Akpor LGA.
He said an AK 47 rifle, charms, live ammunitions amongst other items were recovered from the suspect.
According to the CP, the suspect confessed to killing the soldiers during a shoot out and promised to lead the Police to their hide out to recover more arms.
However, the suspect in a chat with journalists denied being a kidnapper, adding that he has not kidnapped anyone in his life.
