A 19-year-old lady identified as Chioma Sunday – who had concluded plans to sell her child for five hundred thousand naira to a lady in Oyigbo LGA of Rivers State, due to lack of funds has put to bed at the OPM Free Hospital.
General Overseer of the church, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere who made this known in a statement said he found out about the girl’s predicament, and moved her into one of their estates where she joind others in the free feeding programme.
He also said Chioma will continue her education once the baby is strong, adding that she dropped out in Jss3.
His statement reads,
Her name is Chioma Sunday.
She is among the so many ladies that delivered there beautiful babies today 26 June 2023, more are still waiting to deliver their babies today.
Chioma has already concluded to sell her unborn baby for 500,000 Naira to a woman in oyigbo because she does not have money to go hospital and after deliver how to feed the baby when she is born. And she was also homeless as the boy that pregnanted her disappeared.
As Apostle Chibuzor knew about her case, he moved her her into one of the OPM free estates.
And she joined other in the free feeding program.
And today 26 June 2023, she delivered a beautiful girl.
And once her baby is strong enough, Chioma will start school.
She is just 19 years and she stopped school at JSS 3. ( Junior secondary school )
