A notorious kidnap syndicate defrauding members of the public have been arrested by officers of the Rivers State Police Command.
The state commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi disclosed this during a press briefing in Port Harcourt, Today.
According to him, over 60 victims were defrauded millions of naira.
He also said arms and ammunition were recovered, and that efforts are on to arrest fleeing members of the gang afterwhich they will be charged to court.
