The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a medical doctor – Happiness Enyinnaya Iheukeumere, owner of Hagi medical center located at Agboga Igwuruta market road, Port Harocurt in Rivers State for allegedly killing a 20-year-old lady identified as Racheal Sampson and selling her baby.
Dr Happiness also known as Hagi reportedly killed the lady, during surgery and asked a nurse to lie that she died in a car accident.
Spokesperson of the Rivers State, Grace Koko disclosed confirmed his arrest in a statement. She said the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
The suspect was arrested for child trafficking few weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association in Rivers State – Robbinson Ebbi says Hagi is not a doctor and not a member of the NMA. He urged the Police to charge him for impersonation.
