Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Sen. Magnus Abe has again said that the party will contest and win next year’s governorship election in the state.
Abe said this during the party’s dedication service for flag-off of its campaigns at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Port Harcourt, Today.
According to him, after he wins next year’s election, he would come back to the church to dedicate their government to God.
He stated that he is offering himself as a tool that will make the lives of Rivers people better.
The former Federal lawmaker also said that his government will make sure that Rivers people drive cars with airconditioners before officials of the government.
“I am offering myself as the tool that will make your life better. We will make sure the ordinary Rivers man drives an AC car before we give to our commissioners,” he said
“Before we move into the bricks house after the March elections… we will still come back to the St Paul’s cathedral to give thanks and dedicate our govt to God,” he added.
On the Executive order by Governor Nyesom Wike that political parties must get approval before rallies, Abe said his party will not fight the state government.
