The People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State has reacted to claims from some quarters that some members of the newly constituted Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission are card-carrying members of the party.
State publicity secretary of the party, Sydney Gbara in a chat with journalists yesterday said, those making such claims should seek redress in court.
He said as a party, they are not aware of any member of the board who is a member of the party.
Mr. Gbara advised such persons to stop making unsubstantiated claims and do the right thing, which is approaching a court of competent jurisdiction.
