The People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State, has described Dino Melaye as a wet doll for insulting Governor, Nyesom Wike.

Director, Campaign Council of the party, Ogbonna Nwuke in a statement yesterday said Melaye who is gunning for the number one seat of Kogi state, will learn his lessons after the poll.

He said winning the party’s ticket is one thing while winning the election is another, adding that after the poll, Dino will find out that “Khaki no be leather.”

“How can a man who could not win his senatorial district aspire to lead a state? I think this may be what Governor Wike was alluding to,” he said.

“Dino is a wet doll, who thought and still thinks that riding on the back of Atiku would give him the key to the Kogi State Government House.

“Getting the PDP ticket is one thing, winning the election is another. Dino will find out later how things work. He will find out as the saying goes that ‘khaki no be leather,” he added.
