The All Progressives Congress in Port Harcourt City LGA, Rivers State has suspended its candidate in Saturday’s supplementary election for Phalga Federal Constituency 2, Sir Collins Owhonda over alleged anti party activities.
The party in a statement yesterday said Owhonda has been hobnobbing with the ruling PDP, and is also rumoured to be on his way to joining them.
It also announced that it is boycotting Saturday’s election because it has no candidate.
The Phalga Federal Constituency 2 supplementary election holds this Saturday in Ward 5 and 10 to 18.
