An OSPAC member identified as Elemchukwu who shot himself to death after he accidentally discharged his gun at Ubima community in Ikwerre local government area of Rivers State, today, has been buried.
Vice Chairman of OSPAC in the area, Goodluck Amadi confirmed the incident in a statement.
According to him, the deceased had gone to buy something with his motorcycle from a shop, when the gun fell down and shot him in the head.
Amadi, also stated that they met the deceased in a pool of his own blood at the scene, after receiving a call from an eyewitness.
He noted that there was no shooting in the area as it was a mere accident.
Sources say the deceased was immediately taken away and laid to rest.
