NOTICE OF CONTINUATION OF RIVERS NUJ ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Rivers State Council, is set to continue and conclude its election after it was suspended on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
The election is scheduled as follows:
Date: Monday, March 17, 2025.
Time: 10am
Venue: NUJ Secretariat; Ernest Ikoli Press Center, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt
This notice is an outcome of very robust consultations with varied stakeholders and has the approval of the National Secretariat of the Union.
Accordingly, delegates of the 2025 Triennial Conference are urged to leverage on the election by exercising their franchise towards emplacing a substantive leadership for the unhindered progress of Rivers State Council of the NUJ.
