The Paramount Ruler of Rebisi in Obio/Akpor LGA, Eze Cyprian Amadi-Worenwu, has been remanded to the Port Harcourt Correctional facility by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt over alleged cybercrime.
Worenwu is accused of threatening to kill Justice Adolphus Enebeli(rtd) for not delivering judgement in his favour in a chieftaincy suit against Christopher Wonodi and others on March 20, 2023.
The offence is contrary to Section 24 (1) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act of 2, however, the monarch has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
