A mother is calling for justice after her 5-year-old daughter was allegedly raped by a middle-aged man.
The woman in a chat with journalists Today said the girl’s teacher noticed blood gushing out of her private part in school and drew her attention to it.
According to her, the girl said the suspect threw her on top of the bed, closed her face with a pillow and defiled her when she went to deliver sachet water he asked her to buy.
She also said the suspect threatened the girl that she would die, if she mentioned the incident to anyone.
The woman narrated that since the incident, the girl has been bleeding, and unable to po*p.
She called on the Police to thoroughly investigate the matter and ensure justice is served.
Meanwhile, spokesperson of the Police command, Grace Koko said the matter will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department after the holidays.
