One Miss Sophia Oyibo, an 18-year-old girl, assumed office as the Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communication on Tuesday, for 30 minutes.
This was after she emerged winner of an easy competition in the state defeating 14 other contenders.
She received a cash prize of N50,000 and was also declared an Ambassador of the State Ministry of Information and Communication.
After her victory, the state commissioner for Information, Hon. Paulinus Nsirim, vacated his seat for 30 minutes, as Miss Sophia held sway.
Hon Paulinus, in his statement said it was necessary to encourage young people, so they can become famous, and earn good reputation through hardwork, honesty and integrity.
