The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Rivers State has announced that the Claims and Objections exercise for the concluded third phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) will commence on Tuesday, August 4, and end on Monday, August 10, 2026.
The exercise will be conducted at all INEC Local Government Area offices across the state between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
INEC urged residents who participated in the registration exercise to visit their respective LGA offices to verify that their personal details were accurately captured in the Preliminary Register of Voters.
The commission also called on members of the public to raise objections to the inclusion of any underage persons, foreigners, or deceased individuals whose names may have been erroneously entered into the register.
According to the commission, the exercise is aimed at ensuring the credibility and accuracy of the voters’ register ahead of future elections.
