The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has distributed sensitive materials to be used for the conduct of Saturday’s Presidential elections to three local Government areas in Rivers State.
The local Government areas include Port Harcourt, Obio Akpor and Bonny.
Inec resident electoral Commissioner Dr. Johnson Alalibo Sinikiem said during the inspection and distribution of the materials today at the CBN Port Harcourt office, the Commission was able to distribute to just three Local Government areas because of time.
He said the the exercise would continue tomorrow 7am.
Head of Department Technical operations at the INEC office Dr Odey said the local Government chosen for distribution of the election materials was due to their strategic positions.
