The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the display of the Preliminary Register of Voters for the third phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise to allow for claims and objections.
The exercise, which began on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, will run until Monday, August 10, 2026.
INEC, in a statement on its social media handles, urged those who registered during the third phase of the CVR to visit their respective Local Government Area offices to verify their personal details and polling units, and to report any wrongful inclusion in the displayed register.
