The people of Ebubu Community in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, have raised an alarm over activities of herdsmen in the area.

Youth Leader of the community, Richard Dabor in a statement Today, alleged that five persons have been killed in their farms in less than one month.

According to him, people can hardly go to their farms due to fear of being attacked by the killer herdsmen.

He also claimed that Police Officers are reluctant to intervene in the matter since herdsmen are involved. He added that something needs to be done urgently to forestall an outbreak of law and order in the community.

Meanwhile, the chairman of Miyetti Allah in Rivers State, has denied the claims, noting that they are not behind the attacks.
