A former Chief Security Officer of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Goodluck Silk has been reportedly abducted by heavily armed men in the area.
According to Port Harcourt City News, Gift Ohia, Secretary General of a local vigilante group, OSPAC, in the area confirmed the incident.
He said the incident occurred yesterday at about 9pm while the victim was on his way to his residence in Omoku.
“Few minutes after his abduction, we received the information and detailed our men to block all the exit and entry points of Omoku, yet we couldn’t intercept the kidnappers.”
“We suspected that either the kidnappers changed vehicle or as of the time we blocked the exit and entry points of Omoku, they had succeeded in taken their victim out of Omoku,” Ohia was quoted to have said.
