Former governor of Rivers State, Sir. Celestine Omehia has reacted to calls from different quarters for him to join, the 2023 governornorship race.

Omehia, in a statement yesterday, commended those calling on him to contest but, said he is not ready to join the governorship race, as what is important to him, is the presidential ambition of Governor, Nyesom Wike.

He called on his supporters to support the Rivers Governor to clinch the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, as he is the best man to lead the party to victory come 2023.

According to him, Wike has the capacity to tackle the problems bedeviling the nation and transform Nigeria.

He urged Nigerians to go and get their Permanent Voters Card and ensure the right leaders are elected to govern the nation.
