The Rivers State Ministry of Education has announced the release of the results of the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The Ministry, in a public interest announcement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Mina Tele Ikuru, on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner, said the results are now available to public and private schools across the state.
According to the announcement, heads of public and private schools are to access their respective schools’ results through the Rivers State Education Management Information System (RIVEMIS) portal at rivemis.riversstate.gov.ng, beginning Friday, September 18, 2026.
The Ministry said it would subsequently announce the date for the issuance of hard-copy BECE certificates.
It added that the certificates would be provided to both public and private schools at no cost.
The Ministry urged all concerned schools and stakeholders to take note of the announcement and comply accordingly.
