Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Sen. Magnus Abe yesterday, raised an alarm over plots to rig the elections in Ogoni land.
Abe, shortly after casting his vote in Bera community said the BVAS machines were not working all across Ogoni land and that result sheets were not available.
According to him, voting did not take place in so many units, adding that many of the INEC staff were politicians working against the smooth conduct of the elections.
“The Situation here today is that the BVAS are not working, all across Ogoni, all sorts of reports, some, the result sheets are not there, some of the BVAS showing Abuja and all sorts,” he said.
“All the RACTEC people are in on the plot to deny our people the right to vote. No accreditation is going on here and no voting as well,” he added.
