Some Civil Society Groups and Youths from different pressure groups, have occupied the Maingate of the Rivers Government House to declare support for Gov. Sim Fubara and reject resolutions of the Rivers Peace Accord.
They want the state governor not to implement the resolutions reached during the meeting, as it is anti-people and not in the interest of Rivers people.
According to them, one man cannot impose decisions against the wish of Rivers people.
The group also said any attempt by the governor to recall any of the commissioners who resigned willingly will be resisted.
They further requested the President and His Chief of Staff Femi to call the FCT Minister to order for the sake of peace.
