The Executive Chairman of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Allwell Ihunda, has condemned the attack on traders at the computer village in Ogbunabali by suspected cultists.
Ihunda, in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt, on Friday, urged the traders to go about their normal businesses as such incident will never happen again.
The Mayor, who warned against reprisal attacks said security operatives have been urged to arrest perpetrators of the crime.
Traders at the computer village were attacked by suspected hoodlums, who carted away goods worth over five million naira.
They said the boys are demanding a monthly fee of five hundred thousand naira as “marching ground.”
Meanwhile, Spokesperson of the Command, Nnamdi Omoni had in a statement said the attackers were rival cult groups who had gone to the market to demand money from traders.
