The leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu-Vanguard in Rivers State has suspended Hon. Tony Okocha as its Coordinator over alleged misappropriation of campaign funds.
The group announced Okocha’s suspension in a statement on Tuesday.
It said Okocha was also suspended over alleged anti party activities.
The statement announced Deputy Coordinator of the group Hon. Douglas as its new leader.
Meanwhile, an ally of Okocha in a swift reaction dismissed the suspension, adding that he remains leader of the group.
