The All People’s Party, APP, in Rivers State says it will begin campaign for the Oct 5th Local Government Elections on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
State Chairman of the party, Sunny Wokekoro who made this known in a statement said the campaign will end on October 3, 2024.
According to him, they have written to the Police Command to ensure the security of lives and properties during the rallies.
He described the APP as the party to beat, adding that he is optimistic that the APP will win all elective positions.
Wokekoro, added that after the elections, the party will do everything possible to persuade the governor to run on its platform in 2027.
He also denied reports that Gov. Fubara is the sponsor of the party as widely believed.
