Winner of the just concluded governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress in Riviers State, Arch. Tonye Cole has called on Sen. Magnus Abe and other contestants to support him in delivering the party.
Cole in his acceptance speech yesterday, urged Abe to sheathe his sword and work for the victory of the party.
According to him, if he had failed in clinching the party’s ticket, he would have supported whoever emerged.
Cole promised not to disappoint the party and Rivers people if elected governor of the State.
Arch. Tonye Cole polled a total of 986 votes to emerge victorious in the primary held at the Adokiye Amieyesemaka Stadium in Igwuruta, yesterday.
