The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has accused a chieftain of the party, Tony Okocha of working for the PDP in the just concluded general elections in the state.
The Forum of Elected APC Ward Chairmen in the state, made the allegation after a meeting in Port Harcourt few days ago.
They accused Okocha of anti-party activities and recommended his suspension from the party to serve as deterrent to others.
It also said Okocha and some other members of the party who had been compromised by the PDP, were the ones pushing for a parallel party structure in the state.
Recall that Okocha had vowed to support flagbearer of the PDP, Sim Fubara as payback to Gov. Wike who worked for the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
