Factional Chairman of the All Progressives in Rivers State, Chief, Tony Okocha has hailed the conduct of the party’s local government congress in the state last Saturday.
Okocha in a statement at the weekend described the Congress as peaceful and a welcome development.
According to him, the conduct of the congresses was part of the assignment given to him as caretaker chairman of the party, stating that his tenure would come to an end on Dec 5th 2024.
As you may know the party held its LG Congress last Saturday, a week after holding its ward Congress despite a court order restraining it from doing so.
