Following the suspension of Chairman of the APC in Rivers State, Emeka Beke by some members of the party, the State Working Committee has passed a vote of confidence on him(Beke).
Publicity Secretary of the party, Darlington Nwauju in a statement, said the vote of confidence was passed after an emergency meeting in Port Harcourt Today.
He dismissed the purported suspension of the chairman by some members over alleged anti party activities.
He noted that the party chairman has been urged to reclaim the party’s mandate at the tribunal, and also called on INEC to release all documents needed to file petitions at the tribunal to the party.
