Former Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Darlington Nwauju has raised an alarm over plot to abduct him for opposing the emergence of another executive committee of the party in the state.
Nwauju in a statement yesterday said he is fully aware of the plan, but would not mention his source.
He stated that he cannot be silenced or be forced into accepting what he described as illegal dissolution of a duly elected executive committee of the party in the state.
According to him, the National Working Committee of the party lacks the powers to dissolve a chapter of the party as only the National Executive Committee can do so.
Nwaju affirmed that the evil plot would fail as nobody has what it takes to abduct him.
