Former Chief of Staff to the Rivers State Government and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Chief, Tony Okocha has vowed to remain in the party and fight what he termed “injustice.”
Okocha, in a statement Today also said candidates of the party in the state do not add picture of its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on their posters and billboards.
The party chieftain has been having a running battle with his former boss, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, leader of the party in the state.
He was a supporter of the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Magnus Abe when the latter was still in the APC. After the governorship primary, Abe left the APC for the SDP but, Okocha did not join him.
Okocha, is the leader of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Support-Vanguard in the state.
The APC in the state had accused him of anti-party, describing him as unfit to lead campaign of its presidential candidate in the state.
They accused Tinubu of neglecting the Rivers APC to collaborate with Okocha who they say is not a member of the party.
